Re: How to Setup Taxes

In order to work effectively with the Commodity Inventory and Material Shipping modules, tax parameters need to be setup. There are two ways to setup taxes:

1. Create a Tax Code in System Manager. Set the taxable flag in Commodity Inventory and in Material Shipping. This will automatically calculate the tax.

2. Use the Adjustment method. Create an Adjustment Code in System Manager, then create an offsetting account. Use the Adjustment tab in the module you are working in. Calculation will need to be done manually.
