Re: RIMAS NT/P Licensing
Date: March 24, 2000
The
Licensing File is located in the Data directory with the SLG database. It is the first level of security you will
encounter when working with RIMAS NT/P. This file contains your company information,
serial number, user limit, user count, a list of licensed modules and a list of
authorized computers/ networks. Any
modification to this file is done in the Licensing task.
The
Licensing task in the Administration module is where the RIMAS NT/P system is activated.
The first time that you run RIMAS
NT/P you will receive a licensing error.
At this point you will need to call an SLG technician to receive your
unlock code. There are two numbers that
you will need to give them: a Code
Entry and a Computer Number. These
appear on the licensing screen.
An
SLG representative will give you an authorization number or Enter Code. Type this in to begin working with RIMAS NT/P. Each
workstation will also have its own authorization number to run RIMAS NT/P.
Other
times that you will need to call SLG for authorization are for activating
optional modules that have been purchased or for licensing additional users.
